On the recent occasion of the re-opening of the Bolshoi Theater after nearly six years of restoration, he designed a three-meter high gingerbread replica, with every architectural detail rendered to perfection. Displayed in the lobby of The Ritz-Carlton, hundreds of opera and ballet enthusiasts came to see this achievement and to photograph it so they would remember this artist’s salute to the Bolshoi for years to come. Which is exactly why this pastry chef followed his childhood passion—to use his talents and artistry to find new and unexpected ways to please guests and create memories that will last far beyond their stay.</p>

He has made it not just a garden, but a setting for parents and children to connect, bond and share time that will be remembered and reflected upon for many years to come. In that light, it might be the perfect escape.
