Tagor’ Villas

The aboriginal Guanche people of the Canary Islands had a word for adult seclusion. They called it “Tagoror” – a peaceful place set apart from the village, where the elders of the tribe would meet to seek enlightenment and wise counsel. Inspired by this example, we created Tagor’ Villas, an entire row of luxury rooms and suites in villas reserved solely for adults.

Hidden amongst the botanic gardens and tumbling down from the main citadel towards the ocean are our villas, combining exclusivity and luxury with blissful seclusion, they comprise between eight to eleven bedrooms and suites over two levels. Abama’s villas are the oasis of serenity designed for guests in search of the ultimate escape. As well as enjoying all the amenities of the citadel rooms, each row of villas has access to an exclusive pool, where our guests can embed their mind and soul within natural surroundings. Our guests can also enjoy the wonderful ocean view from the top floor villas. Full room service and transport to any other part of the complex are also available upon request.

Citadel

Citadel Accommodation
The citadel is ideally situated between Abama’s beach and its golf course, both within strolling distance, or reachable in two minutes by chauffeur-driven buggy. In the citadel we offer a choice of a deluxe room or two categories of suite accommodation. The rooms’ interior design makes use of local materials such as Canary Island pine, and each comes equipped with a king-size bed or twin beds, a spacious fitted oak wardrobe with coat and shoe racks and a chest of drawers. Our guests can have a refreshing shower or soak in our baths within the relaxing marble bathrooms, each containing a separate shower stall and complimentary brand-named bath products. All this before enjoying a magnificent drink in the room´s private and delicately furnished terrace, that oversees the Atlantic and La Gomera Island in the horizon.
