Our unique Ritz Kids program offers a variety of supervised physical and creative activities designed especially for children aged 5 to 12. Offering full or half-day options, seven days a week, Ritz Kids has something for every child, including:
Full-day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $80 per child/ Half-day from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. for $40 per child. $20 service fee will apply for general guest access to Ritz Kids room.
Ritz Kids at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch is now a state-licensed childcare facility, even better equipped to offer unparalleled convenience and fun-filled childcare programs in a safe, structured environment. As part of its enhanced certification, Ritz Kids has employed additional specialized, staff members to offer each child in the program more personalized care and attention. To ensure the program remains in compliance with its new licensing agreement, guests taking advantage of popular Ritz Kids services, such as Ski Nanny, will be asked to fill out an immunization record, medical release form and basic enrollment paperwork, as well as review the new policies, procedures and pricing guidelines. Ritz Kids’ services are offered to children five to 12 years old. Child care can be arranged through the resort’s Concierge for children under five years of age. In addition to our Ritz Kids program, The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch offers junior guests a variety of special services and amenities.
Bachelor Parties Children are invited to meet and play with the resort’s resident canines–Saint Bernard “Bachelor” and English Cream Golden Retriever “Miner”–during set times daily in the Great Room. Contact the resort’s Concierge to save the date and RSVP to a “Bachelor Party.”
Fire Pit Lighting TraditionEnjoy the Bachelor Gulch fire pit lighting tradition daily with complimentary freshly baked cookies at 3 p.m. around our Fire Pit on the Mountainside Terrace. Listen for the clang of the triangle on the Mountainside Terrace and you'll know it's time to gather for the lighting ceremony. The Fire Pit lighting ceremony is seasonal during the Ski Season and in the Summer from June through September.
Ski Nanny$60 per child, $10 each additional family or group member
The popular Ski Nanny program at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch supervises the resort’s youngest ski bunnies, ensuring they arrive on time in Beaver Creek Village for group lessons via Village transportation, simultaneously allowing Mom and Dad to make first tracks. Parents should bring their children to Ritz Kids between 7:45 and 8:15 a.m., and we will escort them to their lesson. After a day on the slopes, the Nanny meets children at the Ski School drop-off point in Beaver Creek and escorts them back to the resort for Ritz Kids’ “Munchies and a Movie,” where parents are invited to pick up their children by 6 p.m. Ski Nanny services are offered to children 5 to 12 years old and is $60 per day for the first child and $10 for additional young family members per day.
Bachelor Gulch Youth SpaAvailable daily, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Fitness Studio for guests ages 5 to 17. BG Youth and Teen Spa services are performed with the guest fully clothed, are 25 minutes each and include the following spa and wellness options.
A 20% Service Charge will be added to the above price. In-room youth services available upon request. A parent or guardian must be present for any in-room service.
In addition to fun off-property activities, Kids' Night Out has special theme nights on certain days of the week. Please see our schedule for upcoming adventures. Munchies and a Movie 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., $20 per day
Each day a movie will be played in The Ritz Kids room from 4 to 6 p.m., where the children can relax on bean bags after a day of mountain adventure and indulge in popcorn, hot chocolate and juice. Munchies and a Movie, available to children ages 5 to 12 years old, is complimentary to those participating in the Ski Nanny program. Twenty-four hour advance reservations are required. Winter Ritz Kids Roundup Begins November 22, 2012
Younger guests visiting Bachelor Gulch can enjoy our western-themed and camp-inspired activities designed just for them at The Ritz Kids Roundup. The Roundup is designed to make your child’s Rocky Mountain vacation as exciting and memorable as yours. Each session begins promptly with a Roundup plan to discuss the day’s activities and review the camp rules. The program also emphasizes a healthy lifestyle and includes nutrition tips during mealtimes. This supervised program is available for children ages 5 through 12. All Roundup activities and events are included in the session prices. The Ritz Kids Roundup sessions begin and end at the RK Corral (Ritz Kids room on the 4th floor).

Ritz Kids Summer Day Camp Program Ritz Kids at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch is thrilled to unveil an exciting summer day camp schedule for 2011, offering a variety of supervised physical, creative and educational activities designed especially for children ages 5 to 12. The Ritz Kids Summer Day Camp program, available 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, will be offered for $175 per day.* Participants who enroll by the week will receive the fifth day complimentary, totaling $700 for five days, and those who enroll in a month-long program will receive one week complimentary, totaling $2,625 for four weeks. All day camp pricing is inclusive of lunch, early drop-off and late pick-up.
