Frisco Historic Park and Museum

This site, operated by the Frisco Historical Society, preserves the community’s frontier history. It features historic buildings, including Frisco’s original one-room school, the early 20th Century Prestrud-Staley House, a re-created trapper’s cabin, and the original 1881 jail.
Colorado Ski Museum and Ski Hall of Fame

Located on the third level of the Vail Transportation Center, the museum preserves the development of skiing and snowboarding in Colorado.
Colorado Historical Society’s Healy House and Dexter Cabin Museums
912 Harrison Ave., Leadville
The house features furniture, clothing and pictures from Leadville’s late-1800s mining days. The cabin was built by an early millionaire.
Eagle County Historical Museum

Containing a railroad caboose, a 1910 Avon Store, and a late 1800s blacksmith shop, the museum – located at the Eagle County Information Center – is open Memorial Day through September.
Tabor Opera House
