In the centre of Barcelona, this historic quarter houses many of the landmarks of the medieval Barcelona in its narrow streets.There are also small artisan and jewelery shops, specialty boutiques, as well as several designer shoe and clothing stores. This vibrant market is located in the centre of the famous Ramblas in Barcelona's historic centre. A spectacular display of fresh produce including the central fish market is available in this working market open Monday to Saturday.The colourful displays of fruit and vegetables and the specialist stalls make this visit one of the highlights for visitors to Barcelona.    

The famous Ramblas are a series of wide boulevards leading through the old city of Barcelona to the sea. A place for strolling and enjoying the flower stalls, the street theatre,artists and pavement cafes along this tree-lined promenade. The lively heart of the historic centre of Barcelona.   

An exceptional historic concert hall in the Modernist architectual style, dating from the early 20th century, the Palau de la Musica has a varied range of concerts and performances from September until June. Guided tours are organised each week to visit the building. 

This fascinating residential building designed by Anotnio Gaudi is located on the stylish boulevard Paseo de Gracia. The Pedrera houses a museum about Gaudí's work and an exhibition space with regular art exhibits.
