Starting with your ceremony, our wedding specialists will work hand-in-hand with you to select the ideal wedding venue. Whether you prefer a ballroom gala or an intimate gathering in a stylish space, our elegant wedding locations are designed to please. We offer several wedding and reception venues with spectacular views of uptown Charlotte and stylishly decorated function space. Let The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte assist you in crafting a luxury wedding celebration, and in personally conceptualizing it at our famous Design Studio.

The Den
At 1,092 square-feet, this intimate room has been designed for a ceremony or wedding reception. The Den adjoins The Great Room and can accommodate up to 50 for dinner.
The Great Room
Smaller weddings find the attention they deserve in The Great Room, which is an ideal ceremony and reception combination. At 2,018 sq. ft., The Great Room can accommodate 110 for dinner and has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking College Street.  This room adjoins The Den and can be separated into two smaller rooms of approximately 1,000 square-feet each.
The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom
At 6,844 square-feet, The Ballroom can accommodate up to 450 people for dinner.  Its modern décor with hints of tradition, 18-foot ceilings and breathtaking chandeliers are a perfect complement for the celebration of your dreams. With an adjoining 2,075 square-feet, The Pre-Function area is available for receptions.
The Urban Garden
The Urban Garden, which adjoins the hotel and offers a stunning, multi-venue glass-roofed setting, is also available for Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte weddings and receptions and offers up to 10,000 square-feet of space in three settings: The Lower Urban Garden (11,678 square-feet), The Upper Urban Garden (5,854 square-feet) and The Overlook (3,173 square-feet). Receptions hosting 350+ guests for dinner and dancing can be accommodated in this dramatic space, which has been designed and built to achieve LEED® Gold environmental certification.

The ultimate “room with a view,” this spacious and airy wine bar and gathering location is located on one of the topmost floors of the hotel and provides spectacular views of Charlotte enhanced by a warm, stylish ambience. Urban Sip offers 1,400 square feet and can accommodate cocktail receptions for up to 100 guests.
