The tradition of golf at Dorado Beach is as rich as the property’s history. Beginning in 1955, renowned golf architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr. set out to create the finest golf resort in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, culminating in several spectacular, 18-hole layouts that have played host to celebrities, world leaders, golf legends and PGA tournaments.

Chi Chi Rodriguez

Puerto Rican native, one-time head caddy of Dorado Beach Resort and now Dorado Beach Golf Ambassador, Juan “Chi Chi” Rodriguez is one of the great showmen in sports history. In a career spanning four decades, Chi Chi won 22 Senior PGA Tour events and 8 regular PGA Tour events.
