The Ritz-Carlton provides service, food and beverages, tables and chairs, table linens, silverware and glasses, dance floor, and staging for your event. The rental of a ceremony location includes venue set-up.
What other services or items can the Hotel provide for my event?
It is our pleasure to also provide a wide range of special services to include the rental of special banquet furniture, glassware and textile, production of table seating plan and name cards for the event, development of wedding movie, and more.
Due to the specific nature of traditional weddings we can arrange customised koshas and stages, Arabic or Indian menus, traditional dance shows and a private ladies entrance. We can also assist you with welcome baskets, bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts and a variety of other special amenities to help add that personal touch to your wedding.

How do I arrange my wedding at The Ritz-Carlton, DIFC?
Our dedicated wedding planners will organise and coordinate all aspects of your wedding ceremony and reception to help create your vision, including:
- Act as the liaison between you and Hotel operations staff, turning all your dreams into reality.
- Assist you in selecting and reserving the venue for the event, along with the group block should your guests be travelling from out of town.
- Personally oversee the details of the bride and groom’s room reservations (if applicable).
- Act as menu consultant for your food and beverage selections.
- Recommend Special Event Professionals to provide wedding coordination, entertainment programme, flower decorations, photography, invitations and amenities.
- Develop a Catering Agreement specifying the details of the event and parties commitments.
- Create an estimate of charges outlining your financial commitments and deposit schedule.
- Confirm call times and details with all vendors the Hotel recommended several days prior to the wedding day.
- Detail your Banquet Event Order outlining all of your event specifics to ensure that all information is communicated successfully to the operational team of the Hotel.
- Ensure a seamless transition to the Banquet Captain on the day of your event.

Although The Ritz-Carlton, DIFC often fills the most popular dates as far as one year in advance, other dates are typically available with less notice. Magical Samaya Ballroom is in the highest demand for Friday and Thursday nights. Please contact the hotel for more information about available dates. What do I need to know before contacting the hotel?
You should know the estimated number of guests, a date, and an approximate budget for your event. If possible, choose a few alternate dates in case your first choice is not available. Is there parking available for the guests?
Extensive parking for over 300 cars is available at The Ritz-Carlton, DIFC. Our valet Gentlemen will park the cars on a complimentary basis. The cars are picked up at the dedicated street entrance to Samaya Ballroom Pre-function area. Can The Ritz-Carlton, DIFC arrange transportation for my guests?
At your request, the concierge can arrange local transportation for you or your visiting guests. What is the deposit based on and when is the final payment due?
Deposits are based on the number of guests, date and the space reserved. A deposit based on 25% of the estimated charges, is required to confirm banquet space. Estimated final balance is due 14 business days prior to the event. When do we need to let the Hotel know exactly how many guests will be attending?
The Hotel requires the final guarantee of attendants be communicated to the catering office no later than 12 p.m., three business days prior to the date of your event. Do we need to hire a Wedding Consultant?
It is not required for a bride to have a wedding consultant. However, we will be pleased to recommend a wedding consultant to coordinate your special day. Do you recommend any vendors such as photographers, florists, entertainments and others?

Samaya Ballroom is located in a separate wing of the hotel. It has a dedicated street access, spacious Pre-function area and a Hospitality Lounge where the Bride may get ready for the entrance. Is there an outdoor space for a wedding ceremony?

The food and beverage minimum is the least amount of money that you are required to spend on a combination of food and beverage, but it is not all that you could spend.
Rental fee, audiovisual equipment, centerpieces, upgraded linens/china/silverware, décor, would not apply towards the food and beverage minimum. How do I choose the food for my reception?
Whether your reception is an intimate dinner or a lavish gathering, we offer a range of cuisines. From hors d'oeuvres and mezze to live stations and gourmet buffets or formal dinners with plated selections and synchronised service, all options are catered for. Our creative French Pastry Chef and dedicated pastry team will be delighted to make your dream cake come true. What is the average cost per person for food and beverage for my wedding at The Ritz-Carlton, DIFC?
Based on our current banquet menus, you may expect to spend on average AED 250 per person for dinner. For weddings where alcohol will be served, this price does not include the cost of alcoholic beverages. Please be aware that our menu items and pricing are subject to change and are guaranteed 90 days in advance. Your final menu pricing will be based on your actual selections.
We have three wedding packages to offer that are priced at AED 250, AED 280 and AED 350 and contain the essential elements of your event. Does the Hotel offer a discounted room block?
If you wish to reserve a block of rooms for your family and guests, please notify your Catering Sales Manager who can provide you with availability and special rates for a group of more than 10 rooms. Please note our check-in time is 3 p.m. and checkout is 12 p.m. Where can the guests get ready before the wedding?
We recommend guest room reservations be made for a minimum two night length of stay with a check-in date of the night before the wedding and checkout the day after the wedding. This will eliminate the stress on the day of the wedding.
