About the Canton Fair

The China Import and Export Fair, popularly known as the Canton Fair, is a biannual international trade event held every spring and autumn for the past 53 years. A major driver for China’s wide-ranging export, the Canton Fair brings over 20,000 manufacturers to Guangzhou in order to ply their wares to visiting buyers from around the world. In addition to the now-traditional exhibition floor and sample-based negotiations, the Canton Fair now also offers an online component through which buyers can connect with—and screen—potential suppliers.
