Children's Programs



Enjoy a profoundly memorable Northern California vacation at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay through our Ritz Kids program. Discover a full range of family activities, tailored to the preferences of each child, including both physical and creative activities. Reservations are required 24 hours in advance for family activities. To make reservations or request additional information, please call the Resort at (650) 712-7040.


Ritz Kids Day Program: Offered on a full- or half-day basis 7 days a week with 24-hour advance notice required.  This program for children ages five to 12 allows them to experience a variety of stimulating activities.

The day may include:

  • Going to the beach, building sandcastles, exploring tide pools, etc.
  • Swimming at the Colony Club pool
  • Board games
  • Arts and crafts projects
  • Tennis, Golf, Soccer, Volleyball, or Basketball 
  • Making S'mores at the fire pit
  • A movie

Full Day: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., includes lunch and snacks, $125 per child. Can be extended for $15 an hour, per child.
Half Day: 9 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4 p.m., includes snacks, $75 per child. Can be extended for $15 an hour, per child.

Each child should bring the following to Ritz Kids:

  • Swimsuit
  • Warm sweater or jacket
  • Change of clothes in case your child gets wet at the beach
  • Comfortable athletic shoes


Kids Night Out:

Children can get away for a night of fun and excitement, while parents enjoy a quiet dinner at Navio on Friday and Saturday evenings. The supervised night includes a special dinner, movies and arts and crafts. The Kids Night Out program is offered from 6 to 9 p.m., or until 11 p.m. for parents who need a bit more time out. The Kids Night Out is $110 per child. Can be extended for $15 an hour, per child.

Younger guests visiting The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay can enjoy a variety of cuisine designed just for their taste buds.  The Children's lunch and dinner menu is offered in our restaurants Navio and The Conservatory and through In Room Dining.
