All That Glitters
A twinkling diamond light curtain transforms the Ballroom into a starry night. A 40-foot-wide, art-deco skyline backs the stage surrounded by boxwood hedges illuminated with miniature white lights. An elegant five-course meal awaits your guests. Fine wine and champagne will complement the special selection that our Executive Chef and you create to set the mood for this celebratory evening. Silver, black and white balloons will spill on to the dance floor at the close of the evening to ensure a memorable farewell and a night to remember.
Speak Easy
Return to the era of Prohibition on the California coast, when Rumrunners and the like took to the local hidden coves and beaches of Half Moon Bay, providing the spirits that kept San Francisco soaring during these dry years. Guests will walk through a back-of-the-house alley with street lamps glowing and "unsavory characters" watching their every move as they seek their favorite watering hole. Upon entering the Cotton Club, they will be entertained by music and dancing from a bygone era, harkening back to a long ago time and place on the historic California coast.
Mavericks on the Coast
This welcome reception demonstrates all the glories of Half Moon Bay, the Northern California coast and the world famous surf spot-Mavericks. Learn about the unbelievable world of big wave surfing with photos and stories of the "Men who ride Mountains." An authentic surf shack serves as one of many food stations with surfboards, local flowers and palm trees. Guests will savor the freshest local seafood complemented by produce from the Northern California coast.
Taste of Northern California
Taste the crème de le crème of Northern California’s world-class culinary offerings. Goat cheese from Pescadero, the freshest lamb from Sonoma County, artichokes from the Monterrey Peninsula and a bountiful seafood buffet caught locally from Pillar Point Harbor – just to name a few. And of course, a large selection of Napa, Sonoma and Central Coast California wines will complement every menu.
