Welcome Friday night with a Vintner Dinner in Navio with Sonoma Coast’s Flowers Vineyards and Winery. This wine focused evening will feature a four-course dinner designed by Navio Chefs Sommelier. Working together they discover the perfect Flowers wines to accentuate the flavor of each dish. During dinner a vintner representative from Flowers Vineyards and Winery will discuss each varietal paired with the menu, provide insight on their pioneering of Pinot Noir and answer questions about the winemaking business. Flowers Winery produces Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from its two estate properties, Camp Meeting Ridge Vineyard and Sea View Ridge Vineyard, as well as select vineyards in the coolest regions of the Sonoma Coast AVA. Continue your wine journey by becoming a winemaker for a day. Swirl, sniff, and taste glasses of single varietal cabernet sauvignon, merlot, and cabernet franc that you will blend to create a personal crafted full and half bottle of wine. Our blending guide will lead you through an education of grape varietals and a blending session using graduated cylinders and beakers. You will be a hands-on winemaker by bottling and corking the bottles yourself. Following a reception lunch, there will be a blind tasting of each personal crafted wine where you can rate the best and be crowned Vintner of the Day.
Finish Saturday evening with the Taste of the Weekend Reception. Guests will have the chance to see and taste some of the finest local and unique flavors of Northern California with artisan hors d'oeuvres, sommelier accompanied wine station, local olive oil tastings, and cheese displays hosted by a Fromagerie. Talk with our Sommeliers to learn about pairing different wine varietals with foods to create the superb taste. Roast s’mores with a lavish array of toppings from gourmet chocolates and peanut butter cups to a variety of handmade flavored marshmallows while listening to the soothing sounds of the ocean. Create your own multi-course feast with assorted stations of cheese and charcuterie, salads, chilled soups, sushi, dim sum, caviar, made to order eggs, carving stations, the raw oyster bar and other specialty dishes. - Epicurean Weekends require a two night minimum stay, must be booked 7 days in advance.
- Cancelation Policy: This trip is refundable, up to two weeks prior to arrival.
- Advanced Deposit: Full payment for the two night stay will be taken 14 days prior to arrival. If the reservation is canceled less than 14 day prior to arrival the deposit is non-refundable.
- All wines chosen by The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay sommelier included. Afternoon appetizers and extra drinks can be purchased a la carte.
