Who can guide me in choosing my treatments?
Our Spa Reservation Department will help you plan the perfect spa experience, including the best order for your treatments.
When should I arrive?
For your enhanced comfort and relaxation, we suggest that you arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled treatment. This will allow you to relax in our lounges, saunas, steam rooms and Roman mineral bath.
What should I wear during my treatment?
Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing, however, please wear whatever is comfortable for you. During all treatments, the body is fully draped, except for the area being worked on. Before and after your treatment, robes and slippers are provided in lockers in the gentlemen and ladies' lounges.
What about my jewelry and valuables?
If you are staying in the hotel, please leave valuable items in the safe in your guest room. Otherwise, lockers are available for your personal items in The Spa.
Should I shave before a treatment?
Shaving is recommended, but not necessary for men prior to a facial. If you do choose to shave prior to your facial, be sure to do so at least two hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Shaving is not recommended prior to any body treatments or hair removal services.
What about my comfort?
This is your time, and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. Whether it's the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume of the music, please notify us of any discomforts or preferences. We request that cell phones and pagers be turned off in The Spa.
Is there a minimum age for treatments?
Spa facilities, including men’s and lady’s locker rooms, fitness center, are accessible exclusively to our guests 16 years of age or older. For Spa Guests under the age of 18, a parent must be present for full treatment. Spa services are not available to persons under the age of 14.
What if I am late for my appointment?
Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be applied.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify the Spa at least six hours in advance to avoid being charged the full service fee. Cancellations of packages or private parties require 24 hours notice, unless other is stipulated in signed contract.
What about gratuities?
A 20% gratuity will be added to the price of your service(s) for your convenience. Additional gratuities are a matter of personal discretion, and should reflect your satisfaction with our services.
What about payment for Spa services?
We accept all major credit cards and traveler's checks. You may also charge spa services to your hotel bill. For your convenience, payment is also accepted prior to your treatments, upon request.
Are gift certificates available for The Spa?
Absolutely. You may purchase gift certificates in any dollar amount, or for select services at The Spa retail shop or the Signature Shop.
What if I have special health considerations?
Please notify our Spa Reservation Agents when booking your treatments if you have any sort of medical condition of which we should be aware of, such as high blood pressure, allergies, physical disabilities, pregnancy or if you are receiving chemotherapy treatments. If you have any concerns, please let us know. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.
What if I am pregnant?
While there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed. Please notify our Spa Reservation Agents if you are pregnant when you make your appointments so that they can offer guidance.
