JEAN-MICHEL COUSTEAU’S AMBASSADORS OF THE ENVIRONMENT PROGRAM

The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua offers several complimentary events, holiday craft activities and feature films for children from 5 to 12 years of age. Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ambassadors of the Environment program also offers a range of environmental activities for guests of all ages with trained naturalists, including Cities Under The Sea, Adventures in Nature, Underwater Photography, Star Voyager, Marine Debris to Artistry, and Turtle Tracks. Adults can enjoy guided hikes to the Kapalua Arboretum, seasonal whale-watching excursions and underwater photography snorkeling sessions.

Please make reservations at least 24 hours in advance by calling extension 7292. We recommend that you register your children as soon as possible, as Ambassadors of the Environment activities are based on availability.

Family Adventure Summer Series Activity Highlights
Keiki (Children) Summer Camp with Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ambassadors of the Environment

Experience summer break like never before with education and exploration in nature’s ‘living’ classroom, led by Cousteau-trained naturalists. Activities include snorkeling, ocean education, hikes and authentic Hawaiian cultural experiences. The Ambassadors Weekly Camp welcomes children ages 5 years and up, lunch is provided:

  • $499 per child – with siblings welcomed to join the fun for $439

  • Offered Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • The Mana Maker Ambassadors Experience

The perfect way to experience “mauka” (mountain) and “makai” (ocean), Hawaiian-style. Begin with a guided, interpretive snorkel tour with our expert naturalists. After experiencing the deep blue waters of the Pacific, return to land for a nature hike where the naturalists will demonstrate how the mauka and makai are eternally connected. ($279 per guest, advanced reservations required, maximum two people per tour and must be minimum of 12 years-old to enjoy)
