The most amazing room in a spectacular building, The William Kent Room is a magnificent dining room boasting fine views over The Green Park. The decoration is in the Italian Renaissance style, in vogue when the house was built. Restoration has included replicating the delicate ‘fish scale’ pattern in the ceiling, and adding trompe d’oeil panelling around the room. Beneath a breathtaking ceiling, considered to be one of Kent’s greatest works, up to 24 people can be seated around a magnificent handcrafted mahogany table.
