Celebrate together with muscovites more than 100 years of Russian cinema with old and new film screenings all over Moscow. The Moscow International Film Festival is among the oldest in the world. For the first time it was held in 1935 and the Jury was headed by great Sergei Eisenshtein himself, but the chronology of the festival begins in 1959, when it became a regular event. It is significant that the rebirth of the Moscow International Film Festival occurred in the 60s of the past century, at the time of the Thaw, when cinema experienced the influx of a new generation of directors, whose spiritual experience was shaped under the influence of the great victory over fascism.

In response to the alarming number of people in Moscow facing this reality, MPC Social Services provides much needed nutritious meals at the Universitet Soup Kitchen for Pensioners. Based at Lomonosovsky Prospect, the organization gratefully welcomes our guests and employees to volunteer at this impactful program which serves over 200 seniors each day. This Give Back Getaways program is available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of each week, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Reservations should be made one day in advance.
