Experience an unforgettable Florida golf vacation. Conveniently located at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Florida, is the stunning Tiburón Golf Course. This championship course, designed by Greg Norman, is nestled in the lush coastal interior of Southwest Florida, on the northern-most tip of the Everglades and only minutes from the Gulf of Mexico. The course is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary and is home to the the LPGA Tour’s CME Titleholders event in November and Franklin Templeton Shootout each December. The use of golf carts is required on the course.

Tiburón Golf Course

Experience an unforgettable Florida golf vacation. The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples features championship 36-hole golf in a serene, natural setting designed by the legendary Greg Norman. Tiburón is the home of the PGA Tour and The Shootout, held annually in December. The courses are marked by the use of stacked sod wall bunkers, coquina sand and no rough. Players have the choice of five tee boxes per hole to make the experience challenging for all skill levels.

Tiburón is the home of the Tiburón Golf Academy.

The Gold Course measures 7,288 yards from the Tournament tees and The Black Course measures 7,005 yards from the Tournament tees. Courses alternate each day for resort play. A full-service practice area with chipping and putting greens is also available.  The use of golf carts is required on both courses.

Take advantage of the same technology once reserved exclusively for touring pros by participating in the PGA Experience’s newest TOURAcademy, located at Tiburón Golf Club. Your personalized instruction from one of the industry’s top teaching professionals, who include past and present touring pro golfers, will help improve your skill and enhance your enjoyment for the game. Exclusively for Ritz-Carlton guests, the TOURAcademy offers weekly complimentary golf clinics. Whether you are a beginner or an accomplished golfer, our professionals will teach you the secrets to perfecting your swing and your game.

Junior Programs – Golf is the game of a lifetime and young golfers can get an early start on all the fun with TOURAcademy Junior Golf Programs and Camps. Junior Golf Programs and Camps are exclusive for children staying at The Ritz-Carlton—Naples and Naples Golf.

Corporate and Group Instruction – Corporate and group programs are also available. Our professionals can accommodate large groups through either an off-course environment or on the practice tee, or smaller groups though more intimate instruction. Programs can be custom designed for beginners as well as advanced players.

TaylorMade ® Performance Lab


Elevate your golf game with custom designed TaylorMade® clubs. Tiburón Golf Club’s new TaylorMade Performance Lab, located at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples, provides golfers of all ages and abilities a state of the art fitting experience that is certain to make every golf round a great round. Once reserved for PGA Professionals, the Lab experience uses 3D motion technology to provide you the most comprehensive analysis of your golf swing. Certified fit specialists will then use this unique data to design a set of clubs to compliment your specific golf swing, allowing you to hit the ball longer and straighter with better control. The fitting experience includes a full analysis for driver, fairwoods, hybrids, iron, wedges and putter.

Tours of the TaylorMade Performance Lab, are available to Ritz-Carlton guests Mondays and Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. Please meet on the putting green in front of the Bella Vista Terrace at the golf resort to be personally escorted to the lab.

LPGA Titleholders Event
NEW: LPGA Titleholders Event to be played at Tiburón


The LPGA Tour’s CME Titleholders event, featuring the world’s best women golfers will be played at Tiburón Golf Club at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort Naples on November 18 -24. The addition of this tournament coupled with the Franklin Templeton Shootout, hosted by Greg Norman in December, makes the course and resort home to two major professional golf events. The event which is the grand finale of the 2013 LPGA Tour season marks the largest winner’s check presented in women’s golf at $700,000.

Franklin Templeton Shark Shootout
Franklin Templeton Shootout


Entering its 25th year, the Franklin Templeton Shark Shootout, a PGA Tour event, will be held December 13-15, 2013 at Tiburón Golf Club. This one-of-a-kind competition features 24 of the world's top professional golfers playing on two-man teams in a mixed-format of modified alternate shot, better ball, and scramble. The event, hosted by World Golf Hall of Fame member Greg Norman, has grown into one of the most prestigious and unique events on the PGA TOUR. The Shootout was established to raise funds and awareness for CureSearch National Childhood Cancer foundation. The event will be televised on The Golf Channel and NBC.
