The Ballroom at The Ritz-Carlton, Powerscourt is a distinctive, spacious wedding venue with an impressive four-metre crystal chandelier and silk wall coverings. This elegant room seats up to 400 guests for a gala dinner making it the ideal location for larger weddings. Special to events at the resort are special menus designed by internationally acclaimed chef, Gordon Ramsay, allowing couples an even greater variety of delicious dishes when it comes to a memorable menu

The Secret Garden, a stunning wedding venue located adjacent to the ballroom, is a hidden oasis of picturesque beauty - the perfect back drop for wedding photos or an integral part of your wedding ceremony. Offering 200 guest rooms including 93 suites, The Ritz-Carlton, Powerscourt not only features a signature Gordon Ramsay restaurant with commanding views of The Sugar Loaf Mountain, but the hotel is also home to ESPA, a luxury spa with 21 treatment rooms and a 20-metre Swarovski crystal-lit pool.

A first on the island, The Ritz-Carlton, Powerscourt introduces a show room for meeting planners and couples-to-be. Here, they can pre-design their Ireland destination wedding in person, to get an authentic taste and feel of the menu and the table decorations they envisage for their special day.

Elegant Ceremonies at Powerscourt House 
In addition to the range of facilities on offer at The Ritz-Carlton, Powerscourt, couples may also avail of the magnificent setting at Powerscourt House. The Georgian Ballroom is a stunning wedding venue for more intimate events and offers seating for up to 140 guests, complete with extensive marquee options on the grounds for larger numbers. The world-famous Powerscourt Gardens are available for private use after 5 p.m., making it an ideal setting for pre-dinner drinks receptions, wedding photography or exclusive private parties. 

Powerscourt is one of Europe's great treasures and Ireland's most famous House and Gardens. The picturesque beauty of this location has always been a wondrous sight to behold, and this magnificent Palladian 18th century house with its breathtaking views of its 47 acre surrounds can now provide the backdrop to a variety of functions. Guests can continue to enjoy the historic House and Gardens which first began to take shape more than two and a half centuries ago. In 1974 a major refurbishment was carried out so that the house could be opened to visitors. Tragically a fire started that year on a top floor and by the morning the main part of the house was a roofless shell. No one was injured, but all of the principal reception rooms and bedrooms were destroyed. In 1996 a process of regeneration began with the re-roofing of the house and the restoration of the windows along with the ballroom, which has been artfully restored.

Civil Ceremonies at The Ritz-Carlton, Powerscourt 
As the requirements of engaged couples change, The Ritz-Carlton, Powerscourt has adapted to host a range of offerings to suit every need. Civil ceremonies at the hotel are guaranteed to be glamorous, yet relaxed, where the focus is very much on enjoying excellent cuisine and the company of friends and family. The hotel’s dedicated wedding team offers the most comprehensive services and can help a couple prepare their civil ceremony for between five and 350 people at the hotel where all spaces have been approved to host civil ceremonies. The Club Lounge, a popular location for ceremonies, is located on the fifth floor and has natural daylight, floor-to-ceiling windows and includes chair covers for 120 people. A celebration dinner can be arranged for guests in one of the many banqueting suites or in Gordon Ramsay at Powerscourt where each menu is bespoke and is discussed with a dedicated wedding planner. 

Intimate Weddings and Special Events at The Ritz-Carlton, Powerscourt 
The Ritz-Carlton, Powerscourt welcomes weddings whether large or small and offers a host of private banqueting suites, which allows the newlyweds to celebrate with guests in an intimate wedding venue in Ireland. Private suites; Laragh, Glenealy, Glencree or Roundwood can accommodate between 10 and 80 people with a dedicated special events menu including delicious dishes, such as Local Sea Bass, buttered Asparagus and Olive Oil crushed potatoes or Bacon crusted Beef tenderloin, blue cheese crushed potatoes and buttered green beans to name only two of a wide variety of choices.

The Club Lounge, located on the fifth floor of the hotel, boasts floor-to-ceiling windows and natural light and can cater for larger groups of 120 people with buffet-style dining. For wedding parties or other celebratory events that include a number of junior guests, The Games Room at The Ritz-Carlton, Powerscourt is located on the first floor of the hotel. This complimentary facility offers table ice hockey, table tennis, fuss ball and active dance, and children must be supervised by an adult at all times. The facilities not only have children’s safety in mind but also aim to stimulate the child’s mind with the use of bright, vibrant colours throughout. The Games Room is the perfect place for children from the ages of six years and upwards and provides a haven to play in whilst staying at the hotel.
