The Penfolds Grange Shiraz Dinner at Parallel 37

Parallel 37 invites you to be one of first in the United States to experience an internationally treasured wine, the highly anticipated release of the 2009 Penfolds Grange Shiraz expertly paired with Chef Michael Rotondo’s globally-inspired California cuisine. The Penfolds Grange was Australia’s most prestigious red wine for over five decades before reaching international acclaim. Consistently receiving top accolades from media and critics globally, Penfolds is one of the few wines with a global reach and distribution.

This once in a lifetime experience begins at 7 p.m. with a hors d’oeuvres reception in the Parallel 37 lounge paired with a seasonal handcrafted wine cocktail created by the restaurant's bar star Camber Lay. At 8 p.m., guests are invited to sit down in the intimate Private Dining Room to enjoy a six-course tasting menu presented by Chef Michael Rotondo. A Penfolds Grange ambassador will be pairing the 2009 Penfolds Grange Shiraz and other iconic wines in their collection with each course throughout the experience. Each guest also receives a copy of The Rewards of Patience (Seventh Edition) the ultimate wine enthusiast’s ‘form guide’ to all things Penfolds. $400 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity.
