Spend the morning learning about Old San Juan’s 500 year old history, while helping maintain such historic treasures such as Castillo San Felipe del Morro, Castillo San Cristóbal and Fortín San Juan de la Cruz (El Cañuelo). Join a National Park Service Ranger and an enthusiastic team of volunteers like yourself, giving their time and energy to help preserve these cultural landmarks that make up this National Historic Site. A variety of duties may include pulling weeds, watering the grass and picking up trash as well as other light conservation duties such as repairing fences and assisting semi-skilled masons and woodcrafters.
Depart from The Ritz-Carlton, San Juan at 8 a.m., returning at 1 p.m.
