Our Ritz Kids program offers a variety of supervised physical and creative activities designed especially for children aged 5-12. Offering full or half-day options, seven days a week, Ritz Kids has something for every child.

Ritz Kids Camp
We’re going to camp! Whether building kites, shouting "Marco Polo” or running a zany obstacle course on the beach, your children will be treated to a day of adventure they’ll not soon forget. Ritz Kids Camp is offered 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, $90 per child with reservation and $120 for day of service, with lunch included. 9 a.m. to 12 noon (lunch included) or 12:30 to 4 p.m. $70 per child per session. Parents can feel secure in knowing that all counselors are certified in CPR, First Aid and basic water safety. Reservations are required by 5 p.m. one day prior to the requested date of the Ritz Kids camp. Please contact the Ritz Kids Program by dialing (941) 309-2573 to make your reservations.

Kids Night Out
Available Friday and Saturday evenings from 6 to 10 p.m., children can get away for a night of fun and excitement just for them. The supervised evening includes games, arts and crafts and loads of fun all centered on a special theme for the night! Pirate Party, Alien Invasion, Sneaky Spies & Private Eyes, Bee Bop Sock Hop, Hokey Karaoke and Pajama-rama are just a few of the upcoming themes. Please see the Weekly Resort Activities Flyer for the current week’s schedule. $65 includes dinner and refreshments. In addition to our Ritz Kids program, we offer junior guests and families a variety of special services and amenities.

Games
Amusement games are available on the Pool Level (PL) of the hotel including skee ball, ping pong, air hockey, video games, billiards and foosball. Board games can be checked-out at the Resort Concierge Desk.

• Do I have to make reservations?
  Yes please. Reservations are required by 5 p.m. one day prior to the requested date of the Ritz Kids Camp. Please contact the Ritz Kids Program by dialing (941) 309-2573 to make your reservation.
  
• Is Ritz Kids located at the Hotel?
  Yes. The Ritz-Kids program is located at the hotel. The children also go by shuttle to The Beach Club which is located on Lido Key.
  
• What should my child bring/wear?
  Play clothes are best and shoes that are easy to kick on and off. Pack a swimsuit, spray-on sunscreen and goggles if eyes are sensitive to the pool or gulf water.
  
• How many children does one counselor supervise?
  Our staff to child ratio is one to five.
  
• What if my child has special allergies? Can I order a specific meal for him?
  Yes. Please make your allergies known at the time of making your reservation. Our children’s menu offers a great variety of choices.
  
• My child is a mature four year old and is potty trained. Can he attend the Program?
  Unfortunately, no. We are not licensed to take any child even a day under the age of five. The Concierge staff of The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota are happy to assist in finding child care service during your stay. For more information, please contact our Concierge staff at (941) 309-2160.
  
• What types of activities will my child be doing while signed into camp?
  When the children first arrive, we show them all the fun things we have to offer and then plan the day around what the child wants to do. We play board games, go on scavenger hunts, we swim in the pool and gulf and do all sorts of fun art projects. We do not offer television or video games because we prefer a face to face interaction rather than face to screen.

“ECO-KIDS”

We educate children on the environment in a fun, hands-on interactive way, allowing a stimulating and interesting learning environment. We let kids experience various exciting activities including visiting with our friends at Mote Marine Aquarium and Sarasota Jungle Gardens.

“ALL ABOUT ART”
July 15 - 19
We’ll experiment with a wide range of traditional art mediums from watercolor and chalk to pastels and print-making, while learning about local artists and famous artists from history. On Friday students will host a formal Art Show to display the fruits of their labor to friends and family.

Members/ $255 per child
Resort Guests & Guests of Members/ $300 per child

Camps will also include plenty of outdoor fun like swimming, beaching, scavenger hunts and other friendship-building activities; as well as lunch, afternoon snacks and a keepsake Ritz Kids Camp T-shirt.
