Children's Programs



We want to ensure that your children enjoy their stay just as thoroughly as you do. With a full host of activities, designed for vacationing children in St. Thomas ages five through 12, this supervised program incorporates both physical and creative activities – with offerings on a full- or half-day basis. The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas offers junior guests a variety of special services and amenities, including:

  • Special children’s menu
  • Snorkel and scuba programs (Children ages five and older are welcome on our snorkeling outings and ages eight and older on our scuba tours)

    U.S. Sailing Certified Instructors from Island Sol will instill a love of sailing by offering a fun experience that is tailored to each child’s specific interest and skill level. Personalized instruction is provided on a variety of water sports equipment that includes Hobie cats, windsurfers, stand up paddle boards, kayaks and Optimist Prams. Students will receive a U.S. Sailing Level 1 Certification booklet to track their progress.

    The Kids Sailing and Windsurfing Camp is offered weekly from Wednesday to Sunday in full- and half-day sessions for children ages 7 to 12 years old. Half day sessions are $85 per child, full day sessions are $120 per child. An optional supervised lunch at Sails restaurant is available for half- and full-day sessions at an additional cost.

    Summer Camp
    Children are invited to discover nature’s wonders with Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ambassadors of the Environment summer camp. The dynamic camp engages younger guests with a variety of daily interactive nature-themed activities, in addition to sailing lessons led by U.S. Sailing Certified Instructors.
