To support the many families in Tokyo facing this reality, Second Harvest Japan (www.2hj.org) distributes food to soup kitchens, orphanages, emergency shelters and the homeless. Together, Second Harvest Japan and The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo have created a powerful volunteer experience. You will travel with a hotel employee (who will join the volunteer effort and assist with language translation) to the Second Harvest Japan Akihabara location where you will assist in the sorting of food and preparation of food supplies. In the early afternoon, you will travel to Ueno Park to help with food distribution. Reservations: 48 hours advance reservation required
