Bringing hope to Toronto since 1896, Yonge Street Mission has been on the front lines of service, providing emergency help and fostering long-term change in the lives of individuals, families and the community itself. Volunteers play a vital role at the Mission and you are invited to join these efforts at Evergreen, Yonge Street Mission’s centre for street involved youth. Serving between 80 to 100 youth, you will help staff to loving prepare and serve a warm, nutritious meal and help with clean-up afterwards. The lunch program runs year-round Monday to Friday. Volunteers must be 19+ years of age. Departure from the hotel at 10 a.m., returning at 3 p.m. Reservation: 72 hours in advance.
