The Pastry Team of The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner is lead by Executive Pastry Chef Frederic Barasse. A native of in the region Sarth of France, Chef Barasse has honed his pastry skills in England, Spain, and abroad on a Disney Cruise Liner. Barasse began his journey with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company at Barcelona’s Hotel Arts, as chef de partie in pastry, where he spent four years. In the summer of 2008, he joined the team at The Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach as assistant pastry chef and was quickly promoted to executive pastry chef where he served until he joined The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner in October 2010. The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner is proud to welcome the talented and accomplished chef, where he leads a talented team of party chefs, responsible for fine pastries in The Pastry Shop, as well as the club lounge, Entyse Bar & Lounge, and banquet and weddings in the hotel.
The Pastry Shop Hours of Operation are between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Orders must be placed 24 hours in advance. All menu and customize items are available for pick up only. Delivery of wedding cakes to reception venues may also be arranged.
