The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester’s POLO Program for Pint-Sized Guests
Emphasizes Safety First

“There are two classes of travel. First class and with children.” Robert Benchley

Safety conscious families checking into The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester will enjoy the toddler-proof precautions available through the Protect Our Little Ones (POLO) program for children under five years of age.

Created by Ritz-Carlton after noticing a rise in the number of families traveling with pre-schoolers, the POLO program was the result of focus groups, surveys, and market research into the special needs of these guests.

Upon arrival, guests traveling with children under five will be given a special POLO travel kit to include:

  • Bath tub spout cover
  • Electrical outlet plugs
  • Children’s Band-aids
  • Emergency safety card with list of local emergency telephone numbers
  • DVD Library of Children’s favorites

“Anyone who has ever traveled away from home with a two year old knows before they can relax their first concern is safeguarding their toddler from hotel room accidental injury. The POLO program is an effective step towards easing parents’ minds and, most importantly, protecting our youngest guests,” said Jacqueline Sanders, General Manager, The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester.
