Lobby Lounge
Stunning white alabaster walls lead our guests into the light-flooded Lobby Lounge and Bar. As soon as they enter, they shall experience a sense of well-being, warmth and comfort, without having to forego future-oriented design and spectacular effects. A free-standing fireplace made of glass, marble and brass catches the eye, while the large windows allow light to shine into the lobby. A perfect place to unwind at the open fire and enjoy the sunset and the contrasting view of the harbor basin and the power plant of Volkswagen, official recognized as an historical industrial monument.  Only few can resist the fascination of this unusual and exciting example of “industrial romance”.  Sitting here between the enlargements of the countryside by the artists of photography Elger Esser and Thomas Struth, drinking a cocktail or one of the 16 different teas served at the traditional afternoon tea in Wedgewood porcelain, feels like driving into another world.
