After a delicious dinner, Newman´s bar is an obvious choice. The intensive fragrance of the wall paneling, the room dividers made of valuable sanded teak and the leather armchairs are very inviting. For lovers of fruit spirits and liqueurs are more than 200 spirits, categorized by fruit, offered. Furthermore, the guest gets to select in a fine choice of 100 international rum and whiskey brands including rare single barrel whiskeys for very special moments.
The bar is named after the famous American portrait photographer, Arnold Newman, whose original photographs of well-known personalities such as Pablo Picasso, Igor Stravinsky, Henry Moore and George Braque decorate the walls of Newman´s Bar. Main eye-catcher beside these photographs are the lighted built-in shelves with copper-wire doors. Here, especially produced spirit carafes, engraved with names of Newman´s Club members, are displayed.
Another highlight for cigar lovers: Over the years, the porous wood has absorbed the cigar smoke. In the humidor 30 different valuables cigars are stored. Newman´s offers cigar menu’s, in which all cigars are listed by size and flavor. Starting with a Sample-Menu for beginners, to a Classic-Menu and a special menu with limited edition cigars for real connoisseurs.
