Our partnership with National Geographic Expeditions Photography Workshops represents a shared vision and mission: to gain global understanding through exploration, geography, education and research.
A sample itinerary may include:
Day 1: Arrive at The Ritz-Carlton for a welcome dinner, orientation meeting and presentation from a National Geographic photographer
Day 2: After breakfast, join the photographer for a morning classroom session and then head out to on location to begin taking your own pictures. After a full afternoon in the city and dinner at the hotel, return to the classroom for downloading, editing and critique.
Day 3: Taking the feedback from the previous day, head back out into the city for a second location shoot. Enjoy lunch on your own and afternoon edit and critique session with your National Geographic photographer. In the evening, gather with your classmates for a private dinner prepared by The Ritz-Carlton's elite culinary team and a presentation of images from the past two days.
Day 4: Continue to explore the area for an early morning photography session. Return to the hotel that afternoon for a classroom edit and critique.
