TUCSON, ARIZ. – November 5 2015 – The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain will celebrate Thanksgiving weekend with a special holiday brunch, two one-of-a-kind dinner celebrations, and the resort's popular Thanksgiving Turkey-to-Go, enabling area residents to enjoy a Ritz-Carlton holiday dinner in the comfort and convenience of their own home.

Holiday festivities will continue through Saturday, November 28, when the resort presents its annual Tree-Lighting Ceremony, complete with the largest tree on the property fully bedazzled for the holidays. The complimentary public event will include music from the Tucson Boys Choir, a visit from Santa, hot chocolate and a caroling singalong for the whole family.

The Resort’s 2015 Thanksgiving Weekend highlights include the following, with parking complimentary for dining guests:

Resort neighbors and area residents can skip the last-minute stress of shopping, cooking and cleaning and experience a traditional Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain Turkey Dinner to take home and savor. Beautifully prepared and packaged, Thanksgiving Turkey-To-Go serves four to six people and includes flavorful butternut squash soup, baby arugula salad, a 10-pound chili-brined free-range turkey with southwest cornbread stuffing, desert honey-glazed carrots, Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes and sage giblet gravy, vanilla bean cranberry sauce, soft potato rolls, and a choice of house-made pumpkin, pecan, apple or chocolate pie. Wine pairings are available as an option.

Annual Thanksgiving Brunch kicks off the holiday season and is set to feature a bountiful seasonal buffet of traditional breakfast and brunch favorites, roasted turkey and honey-glazed ham carveries, fruits, vegetables, traditional holiday sides, a raw bar and sushi station, made-to-order omelets, barbecue and Asian stations, house-made breads and an extensive dessert spread. Guests can enjoy live music and special family surprises.

Presented on Thursday evening, CORE’S three-course Thanksgiving dinner will feature exceptional holiday selections including main course choices of chili-brined turkey, Alaskan halibut filet, Kilt Lifter short ribs and butternut squash ravioli. Two starter courses and the irresistible CORE Dessert Buffet are also included in this special dinner menu.

Diners can enjoy flavorful mesquite smoked turkey with giblet gravy, plus salads, sides and a generous array of all the holiday trimmings served in a beautiful and relaxed setting at The Golf Club at Dove Mountain. Dessert is included and features pumpkin and chocolate pie as well as pecan tarts.

This complimentary public event is ideal for families and will feature official illumination of the resort holiday tree. Hot chocolate will be served as the Tucson Boys Choir performs music and carols, with singing along encouraged.
