TUCSON, Ariz. -- February 28, 2017 – The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain is celebrating receipt of its third consecutive Forbes Five Star award, this time for 2017. The newly announced accolade signals that the hotel has retained the highest-possible Forbes ranking, which is determined based on more than 500 stringent criteria, and which establishes a global benchmark for luxury travel. For this year, there are only 175 Forbes Five-Star hotels worldwide. Also this month, Forbes recognized the resort’s CORE Kitchen & Wine Bar and The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Dove Mountain with prestigious Four-Star ratings, making the resort the highest-ranked overall hospitality property in Arizona.
The Ritz-Carton, Dove Mountain has garnered a repeat AAA Five Diamond award as well. Only 89 hotels and resorts in North America have earned AAA Five Diamonds for this year. In the restaurant category, CORE Kitchen & Wine Bar has again been recognized with designation as a Four Diamond dining establishment. Also announced this month, US News & World Report has listed The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain among the top hotels in Arizona.

This month’s awards follow a year of major advances at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain. 2016 highlights include exclusive expansion of the resort’s luxury golf program, with guests now able to golf at the private Gallery as well as at The Golf Club at Dove Mountain. The property has also introduced a comprehensive new birdwatching program, along with a richly expanded gemstone treatment offering at The Ritz-Carlton Spa.
