Boston, MA. - October 13, 2017-- As part of a $13 million dollar hotel redesign, led by New York’s globally talented Rockwell Group, renowned for creating extraordinary experiences and building environments the world over, the award-winning Ritz-Carlton, Boston has debuted a stunning new Ballroom (along with 193 new guest rooms and suites), and a completely transformed Studio.

The hotel’s redesign has updated the 3,500 square-foot Ballroom overlooking Boston Common with a new color palette that offers warm hues of silver and taupe, with accent walls balancing light wood and platinum-leafed wall treatments. New wall sconces provide warm lighting, in addition to the natural light that’s welcomed in from 12ft. floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto Tremont Street. Antique decorative mirrors and a botanical-themed, hand-printed canvas, custom painted by Toronto’s Moss and Lam, provide stunning accents both in and leading into the Ballroom. The space is fully equipped with the latest WiFi and audiovisual equipment, and the hotel also offers the services of a Technology Butler to assist with AV needs. The Ritz-Carlton, Boston's new Ballroom can accommodate 300 guests for a reception, 250 guests for dinner and 70 with conference seating.

The Studio, additional function space adjacent to the new Ballroom (perfect for pre-wedding cocktails, rehearsal dinners or large board meetings), was also transformed with new carpeting, wall coverings and accent lighting to highlight a dramatic iridescent mother of pearl wall that serves as a spectacular welcome for guests. The 1,200 square-foot Studio can accommodate 125 guests for a reception, 80 guests for dinner and 45 with conference seating.

To spotlight all of this new function space, the hotel is pleased to welcome a new executive chef - Chef Robert Bruce - who comes to Boston from The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas, one of the most popular honeymoon destinations on the planet. So couples know their wedding will not only look and feel beautiful in the new Ballroom of The Ritz-Carlton, Boston, but the cuisine is guaranteed to be delightful and delicious as well. Likewise, Chef Bruce's innovative cuisine perfectly complements the hotel's new meeting venues and personalized services extended by the hotel's Ladies and Gentlemen.
