The Chefs of Navio have developed a fresh take on brunch utilizing the bountiful supply of local produce grown in Northern California.  The menu coincides with fare found at the Coastside Farmers Market, featuring fresh picked vegetables, chef-made egg station, carving station, raw bar, local cheeses and a fresh pressed juice bar.  Guests receive one complimentary Bloody Mary from the create-your-own Bloody Mary Bar. Beer Garden and Food Trucks

Every Friday from 4 to sunset on Mar Vista Lawn

Start the weekend off with a cold beer in your hand, mouth-watering barbecue and panoramic ocean views.  Local brews will be on tap from Half Moon Bay Brewing Company who crafts their beer from the finest ingredients at their in-house brewery in Half Moon Bay.  Sip on some favorites such as Amber Ale, IPA, Belgian Blonde and Saison.  Enjoy bites from The Boneyard Truck, inspired by San Francisco Bay Area's best backyard barbecues.  Known for a variety of delicious meats and sliders, one of their signature options is the Cally Bowl which includes a choice of smoked pulled pork, beef brisket or Santa Maria chicken, coleslaw, BBQ beans, topped with spicy bacon aioli, BBQ sauce and finished with a seasoned fried egg.

Autumn Cooking Class with Chef Joanne Weir

Pumpkin spice is starting to fill the air and with that Chef Jason Pringle of Navio at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay is ready for pumpkin season on the coast. This year he is excited to collaborate with local culinarian Joanne Weir for an exclusive autumn cooking class.

The James Beard Award-winning cookbook author, international cooking teacher and renowned chef, Joanne Weir will bring her cooking talents to the resort and teaching one of her famed cooking classes. On Friday, October 28 the Autumn Cooking Class with Chef Pringle and Chef Weir will begin at with a discussion about the dishes they will be crafting in the Navio kitchen. From there the guests will participate in a personal hands-on- demonstration, learning cooking tips and techniques while preparing a seasonal appetizer, main course and dessert influenced by the region.

Once the cooking is complete, the class will sit down together to indulge in the fruits of their labor overlooking the idyllic bluffs of the northern California coast.

All guests will dine with Chef Pringle and Chef Weir enjoying their 3-course lunch complete with wine parings.  The class will also in a personal signed copy of Joanne’s cookbook Kitchen Gypsy and apron.  Spots are limited and reservations are required; please call 650.712.7000 to make yours today.
