HALF MOON BAY, Calif. – May 16, 2016 – Summer season is upon us and the local farmers are ready to share the fruits of their labor. The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay welcomes guests who relish in delectable cuisine with Friday Night Food Trucks and Beer Gardens, as well as a Saturday Farmers Market Brunch.

Guests are invited to start the relaxing weekend with a cold beer in hand, mouth-watering food truck fare and panoramic ocean views at Friday Night Food Trucks and Beer Garden.  Local brews will be on tap from Half Moon Bay Brewing Company who crafts their beer from the finest ingredients at their in-house brewery in Half Moon Bay.  Sip on some favorites such as Amber Ale, IPA, Belgian Blonde and Saison.  The Beer Garden and Food Trucks will be set up every Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. on Mar Vista Lawn.

Each month the featured food truck will change; in June enjoy bites from The Boneyard Truck, inspired by San Francisco Bay Area's best backyard barbecues.  Known for a variety of delicious meats and sliders, one of their signature options is the Cally Bowl which includes a choice of smoked pulled pork, beef brisket or Santa Maria chicken, coleslaw, BBQ beans, topped with spicy bacon aioli, BBQ sauce and finished with a seasoned fried egg.  In July indulge in everyone’s favorite food, bacon with the Bacon Bacon food truck. The Bacon Bacon food truck features bacon on a burger, chocolate dipped bacon, a pork belly sandwich and bacon jam for added bacon deliciousness.

Set in a vibrant agricultural community, the chefs in Navio at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay have built strong relationships with farmers and incorporate local produce during its peak of freshness.  The Saturday Farmers Market Brunch menu coincides with fare found at the Coastside Farmers Market, featuring fresh picked vegetables, chef-made egg station, carving station, raw bar, local cheeses and a fresh pressed juice bar.  Guests receive one complimentary Bloody Mary from the create-your-own Bloody Mary Bar.  Farmers Market Brunch seatings start at 12 p.m. Priced at $89 per person, $45 per child ages 5 to 12 and children four and under complimentary, reservations can be made by calling 650.712.7000.
