HALF MOON BAY, Calif. – January 13, 2016 – In celebration of El Nino, when it rains, we pour at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay. Any day it rains in the San Francisco Bay area, the sommeliers at the coastal resort will open the wine vaults and pour from their rainy day list of rare and unique wines. These exclusive wines, including vintages from the 1900s, will be poured in The Conservatory, Navio and ENO. ENO will also feature a rainy day flight that includes:

  • La Voix, Pinot Noir, “Reflektor” Machado Vineyard, Sta. Rita Hills
  • Château  Lassegue, Bordeaux Blend, Saint Emilion
  • Ridge, Bordeaux Blend, “Monte Bello,” Santa Cruz Mountains

ENO is a wine bar that offers flights of wines as well as wine by the glass. The sommeliers specialize in introducing guests to new and interesting wines and educating them on every aspect of wines, wineries and varietals. Featuring more than 5,000 bottles and 3,000 labels, all served by the bottle or by the glass, ENO is open (when it’s not raining) from 4 to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
