Tall Ships Festival

Every September, the Tall Ships sails appear off the Dana Point Headlands as the fleet gathers in preparation for entering the harbor. From shore, watch the crews of the tallships furl the sails and make preparations for entry to the harbor, all while defending themselves from the cannon blasts of renegade vessels. Participating Tallships and Great Schooners will include the Pilgrim, the Pilgrim of Newport, the Bill of Rights the Swift of Ipswich, Spike Africa and more.

Enjoy your favorite musicians and bands this September at the Ohana Music Festival. The three day music event will take place at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point. The Festival features a diverse musical lineup each day with headliners such as Social Distortion, Eddie Vedder and Jack Johnson. The Pixies, Haim, Ray LaMontagne, Fiona Apple, Glen Hansard, TV On The Radio and Dr. Dog are among the acts set to play. Craft beer, wine, signature cocktails, food trucks and more will be available. Wyland Gallery Show

Renowned artist Wyland best known for his marine life artwork will be showcasing some of his best pieces this year at Wyland Galleries. Discover inspirational paintings and detailed sculptures in Laguna Beach in November.
Surfing Santa Competition
- Saturday, November 18 and Sunday, November 19 Starts at 7:30 a.m. $60 Entry Fee Salt Creek Beach
A fun surf competition where men, women and children dress like Santa or other holiday inspired characters and surf Salt Creek Beach to benefit Surfers Healing.

Held on Thanksgiving Day, The Turkey Trot is an amazing, one-of-a-kind Thanksgiving Day race, benefiting the Second harvest Food Bank of Orange County.
Annual Boat Parade of Lights
- Friday and Saturday, December 8 & 9 and December 15 & 16, 2017
Boaters from all around Orange County decorate their boats and vie for awards. You can view the parade free from anywhere in the Harbor, or make reservations at one of the restaurants to view it from a cozy and warm spot. Visitors are welcome to come down and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season.
