Southern California Oceanfront Resort to be Recognized at the HSMAI Adrian Awards Gala February 16, 2016, in New York City

DANA POINT, Calif. – January 4, 2016 – The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) will honor The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel with a Gold Adrian Award for Digital Marketing Excellence for its winning entry in the 59th annual Adrian Awards, the largest and most prestigious global travel marketing competition. This year’s contest was one of the most competitive in history, garnering more than 1,300 entries from around the world, with entries judged by distinguished executives from all sectors of the industry.

For 2015, the top two objectives for The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel’s Facebook page were to grow its community size with brand advocates and increase the engagement month-over-month by pushing out relevant and gripping content. Through unique content series, creative campaigns, optimized advertising, and playful copy, the result was +57,524 new fans; a 200% growth for a total of 86,816 fans as of September 1, 2015, making the resort’s Facebook community five times larger than the brand average. The properties Facebook page garnered 28.8 million in reach and 360.7 million impressions from engaging and elevated content.
