Soulful Beach Sounds of Ryan Heflin
Thursday through Sunday, 180blu features acoustical guitarist Ryan Heflin. Heflin describes himself as a musician who sings and plays guitar with a laid-back acoustic, beachy, bluesy, soulful, singer-songwriter flow. He grew up in southern California and spent many of his days absorbing the timeless wisdom and cleansing energy of the sun, sand and ocean. “Music is a metaphor for life, only revealing its secrets if you come to her honestly, that is, if you are completely present,” declares Heflin.
Tacos and Sushi Throughout the summer, guests can delight in tasty tacos on Tuesday evenings with such offerings as a Churrasco with black bean, guacamole, molcajete salsa, and queso fresco; Tequila Chicken with corn pico de gallo, cotija cheese, and pumpkin seed pesto; Crispy Halibut with pico de gallo, cabbage and chipotle crema; and a Wild Mushroom and Garlic Quesadilla. Hand-rolled sushi is highlighted on Friday and Saturday evenings with selections including California rolls, Catalina rolls, sushi, and sashimi, as well as a few signature items. A selection of hand-crafted cocktails are inspired by the Pan-Latin cuisine of Raya and showcases a Piloncillo Sunrise, Lavender Margarita, Yuzu Fresa, Mojito Cuzco, Passion Fruit Mojito and Tamarind-Togarashi Margarita.
