Travelers Relish in Autumn Inspired Culinary Specials,
Fall Spa Treatments and Festive Family Activities

NORTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – September 19, 2016 – The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe is excited to embrace both locals and travelers during the destination’s “secret season,” recognized as the locals’ favorite time of the year. Those visiting the resort will enjoy a luxury autumn experience amidst the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe, while taking advantage of exceptional weather and avoiding crowds that are common during peak seasons. The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe’s “secret season” offerings are available now through November 17, 2016, with rates starting at $299 per room, per night for deluxe guestroom accommodations.

The “secret season” at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe features several food & beverage specials in the resort’s signature restaurant, Manzanita including The Flavors of Fall ($55 per person or $75 per person with wine pairings), a three-course prix fixe menu available Sunday through Thursday that showcases the festive and bold flavors of fall. Wine enthusiasts will love Wine Wednesdays, where bottles of wine are priced at 50% off and participants are offered a private tour of the wine room. Sunday Brunch in Manzanita ($59 per adult including unlimited mimosas and $29 per child) will offer a seasonally focused menu with a chilled seafood display, a carving station, salads, cheese and charcuterie along with breakfast favorites and desserts. Sunday brunch also features monthly themes that will be infused into the menu and presentation, with September’s theme being Local Farmer’s Market, October being Mushroom & Truffle and November being Fall Harvest.

Throughout the season, The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Lake Tahoe offers Fall Specials Monday through Friday, including 50-minute treatments for $129 and 80-minute treatments for $200. Spa-goers will enjoy a variety of treatments in the gorgeous spa overlooking the pines including a Signature 50-minute Organic Massage, Signature 50-minute Organic Facial or Signature 80-minute Manicure and Pedicure.

The resort will also be hosting an Epicurean Weekend on Saturday, October 8 and Sunday October 9, 2016 which will feature a variety of festive activities, culinary events and spa treatments. On Saturday, a family friendly Harvest Hike ($30 per person) to Sawmill Lake will be offered along with an Epicurean Dinner ($75 per person, $95 per person with wine pairings) in Manzanita, a four-course dinner prepared showcasing a cornucopia of fall harvest. Throughout the weekend, guests will enjoy The Pumpkin Patch (a la carte pricing) taking place in the Backyard, where families can pick out their own pumpkin and enjoy make-your-own candy apples, hot apple cider, pumpkin painting and more.
