Day-long program includes rooftop yoga and meditation, healthy lunch from

LOS ANGELES, CA — May 24, 2017 – The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Los Angeles welcomes warmer weather and longer days with the Summer Wellness Retreat. Offered Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the day begins with poolside yoga led by Rachel Jackson to bring mind and body into balance, followed by a healthy bento box lunch from WP24 by Wolfgang Puck restaurant and a session with spa herbalist Debbie Leavitt. A pampering treatment concludes the day, leaving guests with a feeling of renewal and relaxation.

Rachel Jackson is an ERYT 500 Yoga Alliance certified teacher offering classes with a combined physical and spiritual theme to encourage a true mind-body connection. She is an alignment guru with a contagious optimism that leaves every guest feeling better when they leave then when they walked in the door.

Herbalist Debbie Leavitt has a background in herbal healing and self-care, and passion for natural beauty. She will demonstrate methods to craft tinctures and teas from fresh herbs and botanicals, as well as discuss how to choose herbs to strengthen resilience, encourage relaxation, build energy, and other benefits.

The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Los Angeles Summer Wellness Retreat is priced at $295 per person, and includes the following:

 -  90 minute poolside yoga and meditation
 -  Bento box lunch and fresh pressed juice
 -  Spa Herbalist class
 -  Choice of 50-minute spa treatment from the spa menu (excluding the hydra facial)
