City’s Topmost Yoga Experience offered 55 Stories Above Downtown Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA — June 1, 2016 – The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Los Angeles welcomes guests to salute the sun from high above the city with its new Helipad Yoga program for private groups. Available for classes of up to 10 guests, the lofty wellness program features instructor-led yoga and meditation on the hotel’s rooftop helipad followed by a relaxing treatment within the spa.

In the past, the helipad has been off-limits to guests and will remain exclusive to this special sky-high group program. Helipad Yoga is only available as a private group event, and provides a memorable experience for team-building, bridesmaid celebrations or wellness breakout sessions.

The hotel’s helipad is located on the 55th floor of the tower, rising over 650 feet from the ground – making it the highest yoga venue in the city. Not for the faint of heart, the helipad has no barriers and offers unobstructed views of the city skyline and Los Angeles Basin, from the San Gabriel Mountains to the coastline. On a clear day, iconic landmarks such as the Hollywood Sign, Griffith Observatory and Getty Center can be seen.

Helipad Yoga at The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Los Angeles is priced at $3,500 for a group of up to 10 guests. Price includes 90 minute group Yoga and meditation on the helipad, one 50-minute spa treatment per person for same day, water and fresh juice, and valet parking. To schedule a class, call the spa direct at 213-763-4400.
