LOS ANGELES, CA – Dec. 3, 2015 – ‘Tis the season to raise a glass of cheer with holiday-inspired cocktails from WP24 Restaurant by Wolfgang Puck at The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles. These seasonal libations are served against a backdrop of downtown Los Angeles views, atop the 24th floor of the hotel, or can be replicated at home.

Poinsettia
1 ½ ounces vodka
1 ½ ounces cranberry juice
½ ounce simple syrup
½ ounce lemon juice
2 dashes orange bitters
Prosecco, to top
Orange peel, for garnish
Directions: In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients except Prosecco with ice. Shake well, and strain into a Champagne flute. Top with Prosecco, but don’t stir; a layered effect is desirable. Garnish with a thin twist of orange peel.

Bellini in a Pear Tree
¾ cup Prosecco
1 ½ ounces pear puree
½ ounce ginger infused simple syrup
Frozen cranberries and rosemary sprig, for garnish
Directions: Pour pear puree and ginger simple syrup into the bottom of a stemmed glass. Top with Prosecco, garnish with cranberries and rosemary.
