The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco welcomes guests to warm mom’s heart with the treasured tradition of Afternoon Tea in the stylish Lounge, accompanied by special live harp music just for mom. The Afternoon Tea experience includes fine pots of tea, hand-crafted finger sandwiches featuring seasonal, local ingredients, and delectable sweets. Exclusive Mother’s Day finger sandwiches will include Cucumber with honeydew and fromage blanc; Smoked Salmon with lemon ricotta and gougere; Serrano Ham with romaine and tomato; Stone Fruit with burrata and thyme sable; and Egg Salad with fennel and roasted pepper. Pastries will include Strawberry Lemon Scones; Orange Blossom Madeleines; Earl Grey and Orange Macarons; Carrot Cake with Greek yogurt frosting and Buttermilk Tarts with berry compote. Afternoon Tea is available for $75 per guest, exclusive of tax, gratuity and alcoholic beverages.

Families are invited to celebrate mom with a delicious spring brunch by Charlie Trotter alum and Chef de Cuisine Michael Rotondo at Parallel 37. Incorporating dishes with the freshest ingredients of the season, Chef Rotondo’s exclusive Mother’s Day menu includes a full spread of guest favorites such as Grilled Salmon with cucumber, feta and tomato; Stuffed French Toast with grilled peaches and Marsala mascarpone; Dry-Aged Prime Rib with green garlic potato puree; and Eggs Benedict with fried green tomato. Guests will also be treated to Chef Rotondo’s Chinese presentation including Assorted Dim Sum,BBQ Pork Bao, and more. The brunch menu is available for $135 per adult and $59 per child (ages 5-12), exclusive of tax and gratuity.
