‘Year of the Monkey’ Package
For the second consecutive year, The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco will offer a Chinese New Year-inspired package – aptly named ‘Year of the Monkey’ – which includes overnight accommodations in a Superior guest room, special ‘Year of the Monkey’ memento, and a $88 dining credit at the award-winning Parallel 37 restaurant in honor of the lucky number eight.
Additional Chinese New Year-inspired specialties include Chinese Afternoon Tea in The Lounge featuring small plates such as Peking Duck; Shrimp with Sichuan Pepper; and Cured Mandarin Lotus Bun, alongside confections including Oolong Madeleine Cookies and Caramelized Pineapple Custard Tarts. Guests can also enjoy an assortment of Chef de Cuisine Michael Rotondo’s signature Dim Sum in the comfort of their luxurious guest room through In Room Dining. At the newly debuted JCB Tasting Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco, all the single ladies are welcome to enjoy a “Single Ladies” VIP bubbly tasting experience accompanied by a mystical Tarot Card reading, revealing a possible future romance. Two Valentine’s Day menus will be available for guests - Grand and Vegetable - featuring whimsical dishes such as Kumomoto Oyster, Peekytoe Crab and Bouchot Mussels with Sabayon; Snake River Farm Ribeye with Red Onion Jam and Sonoma Foie Gras; and Green Tea Semifreddo with Tahitian Vanilla, Strawberries and Lemon Cream.
