PALM BEACH, ARUBA – July 20, 2017 The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba is honored to announce the appointment of Louella Brezovar-van Veen to the position of hotel manager.
Louella graduated from The Hotel School in The Hague, Netherlands, and has over 25 years of international hospitality experience, working with some of the largest international hotel brands.
Since joining Marriott International in 2006, Louella served as hotel manager and general manager of resorts across the islands of Aruba and Curacao. In January 2015, she joined The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba family as general manager of the hotel’s casino.
A native of Aruba, Louella strives to bring local culture and incomparable service to all guests at The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba.
Louella is extremely humbled by and excited about her new responsibilities. “I look forward to working with an extraordinary team of ladies and gentlemen not only to deliver the most memorable luxury experiences in Aruba, but also to work toward my career goal of becoming the first local female to become general manager of an international brand resort,” she said. “Being appointed hotel manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba is not only a critical part of my personal career journey, but also an opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented hospitality professionals in the region.”
Louella’s dedication and passion to serve her guests and fellow ladies and gentlemen inspires many of her colleagues. And, as an active community member, Louella is an avid animal lover, and works with local animal organizations such as Animal Rights Aruba and Sgt. Peppers. She actively rescues and fosters dogs in her home until they are placed with a local family.
