GEORGE TOWN, Grand Cayman --February 24, 2017 – The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman is celebrating the receipt of its fourth consecutive AAA Five Diamond award, this time for 2017. The accolade signals that the hotel has retained the highest-level AAA ranking, based upon meeting the rigorous standards of service, facilities and amenities with which the travel organization associates the finest luxury hotels. Only 89 hotels and resorts in North America/the Caribbean have earned Five Diamonds for this year, with The Ritz-Carlton continuing as the sole Cayman Islands recipient in the hotel/resort category. Additionally, Blue by Eric Ripert remains the only AAA Five Diamond restaurant in the Caribbean.
The repeat AAA Five Diamond honor for The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman is complemented by this week’s announcement of coveted Forbes Four Star awards both for the resort and for its la prairie spa. Also new for 2017, US News & World Report has listed the property among the top five hotels in the Caribbean. The esteemed publication has also named The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman the #1 resort in the Cayman Islands.
