GRAND CAYMAN – (DEC. 2, 2015) – The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, is thrilled to announce that it has been named 2015 Hotel of the Year during the Caribbean Travel Awards, hosted by The Caribbean Journal. The recognition was announced by the leading regional travel site via its website earlier this week.

“There are so many things that define a great hotel experience: the beach, the food, the rooms. And The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman has all of them — the magnificent Seven Mile Beach, some of the region’s finest restaurants, and luxurious accommodations. But what sets this hotel apart this year is the service— the best we’ve experienced at any hotel in the Caribbean in years. This hotel sets the standard for Caribbean hotel service,” said the Caribbean Journal website.

Celebrating its ten year anniversary this year, The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman debuted in 2005 and over the past decade has become one of the most iconic, treasured and well known luxury resorts in the Caribbean. “On behalf of our Ladies and Gentleman, we are honored to receive such a prestigious award which exemplifies our commitment to ensuring legendary service, as well as the genuine care and comfort for our guests from around the world,” said Marc Langevin, general manager of the resort. “The timing could not be more apt given that we commemorate a significant milestone this year, proudly celebrating ten years since opening in Grand Cayman.”

The Caribbean Journal first launched the annual awards in 2014 to honor the hotels, destinations and people throughout the Caribbean dedicated to positioning the region as one of the world’s most exciting destinations.
