Luxury resort will offer guests the beers of island’s first craft brewery

ST. THOMAS, U.S.V.I.JUNE. 3, 2016 –The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas is partnering with Frenchtown Brewing Company, St. Thomas’ only commercial craft brewery, to offer guests a taste of local beers in the most beautiful of tropical settings. The beers will be available at the resort on June 19, in celebration of Father’s Day.

Guests will have the opportunity to taste the unique brews over lunch at Sails, or are welcome to enjoy on the beach and at the pool. Then in the evening, Bleuwater, the resort’s oceanfront seafood and steak restaurant, will offer Frenchtown beers alongside a 32-oz rib eye steak special.  The beers will also be served from a bar on the Bleuwater terrace, with striking views of Great Bay and neighboring St. John. Resort guests as well as local residents are welcome to dinner in Bleuwater.

“We always strive to bring a taste of local culture to our guests, so the partnership with Frenchtown Brewing Company is a great opportunity to showcase local flavors,” said Subin Dharman, director of food and beverage for the resort. “The brewery is new and the beers are only found in St. Thomas, so it’s truly a unique island experience for visiting guests and local residents alike.”

Three craft beers will be available for tasting, guaranteed to satisfy every taste. Hop Alley IPA features five different hops and a fruity nose; Frenchie Farmhouse Saison is a Belgian-style brew with hints of spice; and Rooster Brown Ale is a British/American hybrid, with British malt, American yeast and a combination of American and English hops.
