Readers vote luxury resort as one of the world’s best Caribbean resorts

ST. THOMAS, U.S.V.I.MARCH. 5, 2016 –The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas is pleased to announce it has been recognized by the readers of Travel + Leisure as one of the world’s best Caribbean resorts in the World’s Best Awards for 2015. The luxury hotel joins three other properties from The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in this distinguished recognition.

Readers of Travel + Leisure were invited to participate in a questionnaire and rate hotels on five characteristics, including rooms and facilities, location, service, restaurants and food and value. Required component ratings were then averaged, creating an overall score. A total of twenty five hotels were recognized in the Caribbean.

“Coming from our guests, this recognition is especially meaningful,” said Bernd Kuhlen, general manager at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas. “Our ladies and gentlemen consistently work to make each guest’s stay unique and memorable, and I’m delighted to accept this honor on their behalf.”

Nestled within a 30-acre beachfront estate, The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas blends classic elegance with the traditional warmth of the Caribbean. The acclaimed Virgin Islands resort offers a variety of luxurious amenities including lavishly designed presidential suites and guest rooms; four distinctive ocean-front dining choices; a full service spa; and a 53’ luxury catamaran, the Lady Lynsey.
