New Offering Includes Four-Part Mini-Series on Pastries Around The World
CHARLOTTE, NC – June 23, 2017 -- Cocoa Lab at The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte has created a robust new schedule of classes for the next several months, with highlights to include a special “Pastries Around The World” mini-series. The added four-part series is designed for home chefs interested in creating internationally inspired desserts, and it will offer instruction on culinary treats from Asia, Germany, India and South America.
Cocoa Lab’s public classes feature uniquely-chocolate, pastry and dessert workshops presented within the hotel’s behind-the-scenes Bar Cocoa kitchen. During each class, students work alongside one of the award-winning chefs of The Ritz-Carlton, Charlotte to learn cooking techniques and prepare menu items featuring chocolate, cocoa, dessert flavors, and fresh produce and herbs from the hotel’s rooftop gardens.
As a favorite part of the experience, students can savor their own creations at the end of each session. They also receive complimentary hotel parking, a recipe collection, and a keepsake apron as part of the $150 USD class fee (note different pricing for two special class activities, below). Each Cocoa Lab class begins with a delicious hospitality experience to be enjoyed in the hotel lobby, and upcoming classes will include the following menu items:
